Irkutsk Airport is located in the outskirts of the city, 8 km away from the downtown and 60 km from Lake Baikal. You can reach the airport from the downtown using public transport: a trolleybus, a bus or a route taxi from Irkutsk railway terminal. Irkutsk railway terminal.

Irkutsk-Passazhirsky railway station is located on the left bank of the Angara river, facing the city centre. The ship leaves from the river terminal. Irkutsk river terminal offers convenient transport communication with the downtown. Surnov and Angarskaya streets, going along the right bank of the Angara, connect Irkutsk river terminal with Irkutsk hotels downtown. Znamensky Convent and the monument to Admiral Kolchak are located downtown halfway to Nizhnyaya embankment from the river terminal.

Irkutsk bus terminal.

Irkutsk bus terminal is located close to the city centre, at 11 Oktyabrskoy Revolutsii street. Buses bound for Bratsk, Sayansk, and Ulan-Ude depart from here. The 3-star Delta Hotel stands two blocks away from Irkutsk bus terminal.

Irkutsk historical centre.

From June to August motor ships and yachts run to Lake Baikal from Raketa wharf, located several blocks from the hotel. A single-track dead-end railway has been built around Lake Baikal. The railway is called Krutobaikalskaya (KBZhD). You can reach this railway by Vostok motor ship and by Krutobaikalsky express tourist train from Irkutsk river terminal.
