The Hanza Hotel is centrally located, in a building of architectural note, and yet is totally up-to-date. Windows of the hotel offer view over the early 19th century Church of Jesus, the tallest wooden building in Latvia. Almost as close is the Academy of Science, the most blatant stamp from the Soviet period, with its recently opened tower offering the best view over Riga. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food of European cuisine. The ground floor of Hanza Pub, which accommodates 45 people, is good for a business lunch or just for coffee at the bar during daytime. The interior of the first floor banquet hall with 40 seats is an ideal environment for a private party, or for a family celebration. It can also be used by seminar participants for coffee breaks and for lunches.
